Graveyard Plume Agate Mining 1981 These pictures show my mining claim operation back in 1981. My Dad and I have had this claim since 1949 to 1995. Backhoes, hammers, crowbars and blasting were used to remove the agate seams from the host rock. It was hard, laborious work in this semi-desert area. Tons were taken out during my ownership of the original claim. The rough I have for sale is excellent quality. The slabs are select premium and are in limited quantity.
